Our academic programme consists, in essence, of two strands. We equip children with the means to learn, explore and develop ideas; we also provide a thorough grounding in the necessary technical skills using proven teaching methods matched with modern and up-to-date facilities in a caring environment where each individual matters and feels at home. We aim to offer a relevant and engaging curriculum reflecting our bi-lingual and international structure.

Children benefit from outstanding class teaching and a thorough grounding in all subjects required for entry to secondary education. A wide variety of activities are offered within the school day, sport, music and art being amongst them.

Class sizes are small (on average no more than 15 pupils) and each child is supervised individually in his or her progress. We work with families to ensure that our boys and girls have high academic expectations, are successful in examinations and discover intellectual interests that will stay for them for life. Excellence is achieved through enthusiasm and the sheer enjoyment of learning; the school places the child at the centre of all our efforts; it is important that the learning experience be both sufficiently structured and enjoyable so that our pupils are motivated and achieve their best. Our consistent success in public examinations (100% pass over the past 5 years) bears witness to our educational methods. It is important that children are also able to develop personal skills and make good and lasting relationships in a safe and happy environment.

We follow a programme based on both the National Curriculum of England and Wales and Belgian approved curricula (Communaute Francaise); these are adapted to reflect the needs of an increasingly international and multicultural student body and to capitalise upon the opportunities of being in Belgium and at the heart of Europe.
