Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

The two languages are practised every day. One language is used in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
It is estimated that it takes about two years to acquire the basics in English and French. Regular school attendance will help your child to develop self-confidence and thereby quickly assimilate the languages.
Children have a great ability to assimilate several languages at a very young age and we take great care in our teaching methods to avoid such confusion.
The day starts at 8h30. Breaks are scheduled in the middle of the morning and in the afternoon, and children are able to have their snacks during these breaks before going out to play. There is also a recreation period after lunch.

The school day ends at 15h30, and an after-school care service (Garderie) is available from 16h to 18h. On Wednesdays the school day ends at 12:30 and the Garderie runs from 13h to 17h.
The Kindergarten groups have their meals in the classrooms. The teachers help the children to gradually develop sufficient autonomy to eat without assistance.
The Reception and Year 1 classes have lunch in the canteen.
A room is reserved for nap time. Each child has his or her own bed that is regularly cleaned and disinfected.
We provide a peaceful atmosphere with relaxing music – a calm moment of rest that is ideal for your child’s development.
A list of extracurricular activities will be distributed to parents at the beginning of the school year.

The Kindergarten teachers are responsible for organising the proposed activities. These activities are offered Mondays to Fridays from 16h to 17h, and on Wednesdays from 13h to 14h.

Each activity lasts for periods of 3 months so children may participate in several activities during the course of the school year.
We do not think in terms of entrepreneurial benefits as may be the case elsewhere. The primary goal of the school is to be able to provide a high quality of bilingual education to our pupils. Our primary motivation is the child, and his or her well-being is essential to becoming well-adjusted adults. Our fees reflect our wish to ensure that our school is accessible to as many families as possible.
